Favorite Films From Fantastic Fest 2010

This was my third year attending the Fantastic Fest, the biggest (and awesomest) genre film festival in the US. I've never bothered to post up my favorite movies before, and then end up haphazardly listing them off on twitter or something. So this year, I'm gonna do it right! PREPARE FOR TRAILERS...
Each year we see somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 original films, nearly all subtitled imports, mostly terrifying, in the space of seven or eight days. It's totally awesome. I've divided the trailers here into two categories: Totally Awesome, and Merely Awesome. All of these movies were awesome, just some happened to be even more vastly awesomer somehow.
Totally Awesome Films
Man From Nowhere: my favorite film of the festival. Heartbreaking, suspenseful, hilarious, beautifully shot. Totally amazing!
Golden Slumber: new film from the creator of Fish Story. Second favorite film, so much character and charm and excitement and sadness.
Redline: Speed Racer + Gurren Lagann + Meth = best racing drama ever.
Gallants: the Beast from Kung Fu Hustle beats the crap out of everybody.
Rare Exports: a Roald Dahl-style dark and funny children's tale. Great pacing and characters and setting.
Agnosia: A Sherlock Holmes story without the Sherlock. Beautifully realized tragedy in turn of the century Barcelona.
13 Assassins: Sort of like High Noon only 13 samurai face off against 200. Absurdly awesome.
